The Aloha Buddy Club (known as “ABC”) is a program designed for small groups of middle to high school Japanese students (typically 7 to 10 per group). They spend several hours with English-speaking college students. While the group explores downtown Honolulu or the Waikiki area, the students get to practice English conversation with their group leader (“buddy”).

The group may have to use public transportation or walk to/from the destination.  It is a fun activity for both the Japanese students and the group leader.  This program can be arranged with or without a meal during the excursion.

Sample destinations: Ala Moana Center, Waikiki Aquarium, Honolulu Zoo, Kamehameha Statue, Iolani Palace, etc.

Please CONTACT US if you are interested in becoming an ABC leader. (You must be a native English speaker living on the island of Oahu, Hawaii.)
