Ribbon Productions matches local families with Japanese students who come to Hawaii for school excursions to experience “American life,” even for just a few days.  Our unique Homestay program allows students a cross-cultural experience which is mutually beneficial. Observing and participating in the daily life of a local family is a great learning opportunity for many Japanese students.

If an overnight stay with a host family is not possible, the school may choose to visit a local family for several hours and enjoy a meal together.  “Loco Moco” cooking with a local family might be a good alternative to a homestay program for your group.
